Nursing runs deep in my veins and it is what I was born to do. Once I am able to begin my nursing career I am positive my current lifestyle will be affected, but I passionately enjoy helping others, and I know that this is what I am made for. In every new job you face many challenges and stresses. Nursing in it's own can be quite a stressful choice, I will have my work cut out for me, but I have experience in the medical field so I know I can face these everyday stressors. My fiance's mother has been a nurse for many years and I can assure you that it has taken over her life, but she does not regret it. Even if my job takes over my life I will feel good knowing I make a difference and I know I can regain control anytime I want too.

 The median salary as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor in 2010 for RN's  was 64,690 annually. I believe that will be plenty enough to support my lifestyle. I do not intend on having children, but I do intend to get married. However, if I did ever change my mind and decide to have children I would still feel that the salary I earn as a nurse would suffice, and both myself and my husband will have careers in the medical field.  Both myself and my husband to be love to travel.  It  may be tough to schedule travel time around our busy work schedules, but we will live comfortably and we will be able to afford life's luxuries. One of the greatest  advantages of working in the medical field is that there is continuous job stability. I know that as a nurse I will not need to worry about finding a job no matter where I end up and I will always have the pleasure of knowing I can switch workplaces if I feel is necessary..

I am very excited to start my training as a nurse. I am completely invested in health sciences and I cannot wait to get some hands on time. Some of the activities of the nursing experience I look forward to are being educated on the human body, being able help to help others in emergency situations, assisting doctors, and etc. I am already one who loves to be the emergency responder, I'm the one who jumps up when someone is choking to give them the Heimlich Maneuver, and I am there with the first aid kit when a child is hurt. It gives me a sense of  worth, and that is something I will truly enjoy being able to feel everyday. Of course there is dirty work, nobody enjoys cleaning up vomit or blood, I will have to deal with some very unruly patients, and there will always be that one doctor who thinks he/she is better then the rest of the world. All I know is that this is my passion and I can not wait to begin my career as a nurse.
